Marie Curie Cancer Care
Established in 1948, the same year as the NHS, Marie Curie Cancer Care is now one of the UK's largest charities. Employing more than 2,700 nurses, doctors and other healthcare professionals, they provide care to around 25,000 people with cancer every year, along with support for their families. Marie Curie also care for people with other life-limiting illnesses. Their services are always free of charge to patients and their families, which means that this year, they will need to raise more than £100 million.The charity is best known for its network of Marie Curie Nurses working in the community to provide end-of-life care for patients in their own homes.

RSPCA
The mission of the RSPCA is to Promote Kindness and Prevent or Suppress Cruelty to Animals. It is supported entirely by generous donations from the public and receives no State or Lottery aid. Whether caring for abandoned or neglected animals, prosecuting animal abusers or lobbying for change at Westminster and in Europe, the RSPCA can be found wherever animal welfare is at stake. With teams of Inspectors, Veterinary Surgeons, Nurses, Carers and Animal Collectors they fight cruelty 365 days a year, as they have been doing for the past 175 years.

CWAC
CWAC has three main ways of helping children and families infected and affected by HIV/AIDS. They provide direct financial support through a hardship and respite fund, assistance with transport and transport costs and aim to educate people about the disease and how to prevent its spread.
